Remember this:
a) BE + Past Participle;
BE - is a chameleon (changes its verb tense according to the verb tense of the active sentence)
b) Firstly, identify the verb tense of the active sentence;
c) Build the sentence in the passive, writing the auxiliary verb to be in the same tense of the active sentence.
Changes:
Present Simple – buy -------------------------------------- is /are bought
Present Continuous – is providing -------------is/ are being provided
Past Simple – wrote -------------------------------------was/ were written
Past Continuous – were doing -----------------was/ were being done
Present Perfect – has drunk ---------------------have/ has been drunk
Past Perfect – had completed --------------------had been completed
Future Simple – will eat ----------------------------------------will be eaten
Simple Conditional – would give --------------------------would be given
Perfect Conditional - would have bought --would have been bought
Modal verbs – must do ----------------------------------------must be done
Infinitive – to advise --------------------------------------------to be advised
Gerund – Cutting -----------------------------------------------------being cut
Examples:
Mr. James provides all foreign students with a guide full of information.

Starting with IO:
All foreign students were provided with a guide full of information.
Starting with DO:
A guide full of information was provided to all students (by Mr. James).
