This week we are going to (re) visit some idioms of the English language. Let's begin by reading these idioms that are used to describe people:
Now, I'm going to give you some idioms. Your mission is to go to the English-English dictionary and find out their meanings. Then, find a new idiom to explain it to the class!
All fingers and thumbs
To make a mountain out of a molehill
Let sleeping dogs lie
An eager beaver
You're always bursting my bubbles
Sounds as a pound
It's raining cats and dogs
It's a piece of cake
Did every trick in the book
A drop in the ocean
This blog was especially built for my students. It has not only resumes and videos for our classes, but it also has grammar tips and it will work as another mean of communication between us during this lockdown. Remember each person has his own pace, so use this blog to work at home at your own rhythm and watch videos more than once.
