This week we are dealing with reciprocal pronouns.
As I told in class it is quite simple. The pronouns are:
each other
and
one another
They are used when you refer to something that a person does to someone and the other person also does.
Complicated?
Instead of having an odd sentence like this:
" Anne sent an email to Sam and Sam sent her an email back. "
you can come up with a much simpler sentence:
"Anne and Sam sent each other an email".
Each other - is used when two people are involved.
One another - is used when more than two people are involved.
