These little words help you to structure your writing.
When you are writing you have to do it with time. You should write the text in English, leave it for a few hours, and then go back and put yourself in the perspective of your own reader. Ask yourself:
"Am I being clear?"
"Does it make sense? Or am I jumping from thing to thing?"
